I decided to purchase a few skin care bits that I've noticed floating around YouTube and the Blogosphere as they sounded amazing.
Now, this isn't going to be a review, it's kind of a preview of the reviews you should be expecting on my blog!
So, I ended up buying:
1. Clarins Extra-Comfort Anti-Pollution Cleansing Cream
Now, this stuff sounds ideal for me. It's a little less heavier than a balm, so perfect for summer. It also focuses on 'anti-pollution' which I think is really important (and considering I live in London, where pollution pretty darn high, it would be worth trying something like this out).
2. Caudalie Grape Water
I really wanted a hydrating water/toner for a pick me up during the day and for the mornings. This sounds pretty great and I cannot wait to try.
3. La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Mains
My hands have been so dry recently. Like SO dry. I don't even know why. I wanted something that was pretty effective straight away. I hope this works. I really do.
4. Nuxe Reve de Miel - Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm
Now this is Estee's fault. (Estee from Essie Button). She's raved about this so much, I believe it's my turn.
I have had quite dry lips which I blame on the bipolar british weather, so *fingers crossed* this will sort it out.
Haven't opened anything yet! Can't wait! |
A note on ordering from Escentual - I think the ordering process is pretty awesome. I mean, I ordered one more item, but it was out of stock - but as soon as it comes back in, they'll send me one out! Also, they do an option of gift wrap, which is awesome (and free). The prices as well are great, with and without discount.
One of my uncles actually lives in Cardiff, and if I get to visit him, I'm definitely going to pop into the actual store, so can't wait!
