Welcome to my blog! My blog content is a mixture of things. I mainly talk about beauty, but I do a few random posts about my life. In the near future I shall also upload a few recipes as I am a huge foodie!

So, 2 weeks back I made a really naughty purchase.

I wasn't going to get it, until one of my best friends (you know the one that made me buy the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Perfume) whatsapped me at *wait for it* 5am in the morning, telling me that she had bought it. I'm actually going to insert part of the conversation here:

So, read it from left to right! (Top right hand corner 1, Top Left hand corner 2, Bottom right hand corner 3 and bottom left hand corner 4).

*Disclaimer:
Please do not think we/she is/are crazy. Okay, I'm sitting here trying to justify my disclaimer, but it's not working. Let's just leave it at me asking you all to try and believe that we're not crazy.

So, after that conversation, I kinda just bit the dust and bought it.

& I don't think I regret it.

No remorse. Nothing. Just a complete overwhelming sense of love, haha!

To start of with SpaceNK were really fast with their delivery! I ordered it on Friday Morning, and received it on Monday Morning, from Waqas, my delivery man. (He delivered my BF's one that morning too, even though she lives around 10 miles away from me!). I had an exam, and just before I was leaving the door, he knocked and I received! I was so tempted to open it all up and swatch, but I was really strict on myself and waited till I got home!

The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette is beautiful. I understand the hype, and I'm glad the hype around these powders sucked me in.

The packaging is uber sleek, and it makes that satisfactory 'click' sound when you close it, giving it that extra luxurious feel.

The powders when swatched feel so buttery. They apply evenly and blend seamlessly into the skin. I know the term 'finely milled' is thrown around a lot, but seriously - these are really finely milled. I absolutely love the powders.

Here are some pictures:

In it's outer packaging. & yes I put it in a plant. I thought it looked pretty!
The case. SO sleek.

In all it's glory. Absolutely beautiful.

From Left to Right: Dim Light, Incandescent Light and Radiant Light.

I tried swatching these, but swatches don't do this justice. You really need to have gone and swatched them yourself. I can't put my finger on to which one is my favourite, but I think right now it is Dim Light because it's just really neutral and I feel like I can put it all over my face without feeling overwhelmed. However, for summer, I know I'm going to stick to Radiant light, because it's just so pretty! Incandescent Light however, is just the perfect inner corner, cheek, bridge of the nose and cupid's bow highlight.

So impressed with my first ever Hourglass product!

I think another thing which is really great about this is that it is Paraben, talc, fragrance, nano-particle and gluten free.

You can but it here from SpaceNK.
