I write poetry...

I write poetry. I don't know if it's a shameful thing...  I don't really care if it doesn't rhyme or doesn't really make sense - because to me, it's words that symbolise moments of raw emotion that can't be expressed through tears, beers and smiles.

1:00am Thoughts

I sometimes wonder about the souls lost at sea,

Amongst the unseeable creatures that may be,

Are they as cruel as the creatures on land?

With a thirst for war and political qualms.

I sometimes wish I could be like the lost souls at sea,

Maybe then would my heart feel free

Of all the burdens of the human kind.
