Just recently, I finished my Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer, and when reordering, I decided to opt for the Ultra Facial Cream which comes in a tub.
The Ultra Facial Cream is a lot more thicker in consistency, however upon applying it just is absorbed/drunk in by my skin almost immediately.
The Ultra Facial Moisturizer on the other hand, is a lot more lotion like, and sits on the skin for about 30 seconds before absorbing. It does however make my skin feel a lot more glowy, but throughout the day my skin felt slightly dehydrated. It did allow my makeup to apply really lovely on top, and I think it did kind of help my foundation blend very well on top of it, to make it almost skin-like looking.
This is where the UFC differs. It didn't leave my skin feeling glowy, but it did leave it feeling hydrated - and that hydrating feeling lasted the entire day. It also helped heal a few dry patches which I was absolutely thrilled about. The ingredients are also focused so that skin can adapt to extreme conditions so for e.g. it contains glycoproein which is supposed to protect skin in colder climates and Imperata Cylindrica - which is a plant found in the Australian desert which helps retain water in dry conditions.
All in all would I repurchase either? I think I'd repurchase both. I really love the UFM, and would use it post workout (after a cleanse) and to keep it in my handbag, and the UFC on a regular/daily basis.
