Welcome to my blog! My blog content is a mixture of things. I mainly talk about beauty, but I do a few random posts about my life. In the near future I shall also upload a few recipes as I am a huge foodie!

Hello!

I've been working on my blog for quite some time, so if you've been checking out my blog in the process, you may have noticed that it has been going through a variety of outlooks.

I'm not completely satisfied, but I'm happy to have gotten to a near-to-satisfactory point. I will continue to update and make those nitty gritty changes that annoy me.

Anyways, getting back to the post.

I've been loving so many new things (I think way too many) so I shall split this post into two/three parts.

I've never ventured into Clinique, but I had really been wanting a GOOD SPF face base. I had eyed up a Kiehl's one, but that was slightly out of my budget at the time, so after a bit of research, I came across the Clinique Super City Block SPF 40. It had pretty good reviews, and the price was in my budget. What I especially like about this one is that (a) it doesn't leave a white cast, like a lot of SPF based creams do, (b) it is not oily so it doesn't leave a unflattering residue and (c) it is slightly tinted - so it (ever so slightly) evens out your skin tone. This also has a mattefying effect, so will be great during summer.
ALSO, I'm not sure if it's only me, but I also get a slight glow from this - which I love.

Moving on, another product which I've been head over heels has been the Maybelline Erase Eye Perfect and Cover Concealer. This is a really lightweight concealer, however it does really brighten up the under eyes. I have really dark circles, and they're even more prominent in photographs. With this on, it definitely does make a difference. My dark circles are a lot less noticeable and a lot more brighter.

Last of all, a lip product which my best friend and I were obsessing over last year - the Revlon Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie. This is really pigmented, and super moisturising. I use it as a tint - swipe a tiny bit on my lips and blend with my finger. It gives a 'just bitten' look, which I love.

From left to right: Clinique Super City Block SPF 40, Revlon Lip Butter in 010 Raspberry Pie, and the Maybelline 'The Erase Eye' Concealer.
Have you tried any of these products? If so, drop a comment below and let me know what you think of it!
