Welcome to my blog! My blog content is a mixture of things. I mainly talk about beauty, but I do a few random posts about my life. In the near future I shall also upload a few recipes as I am a huge foodie!

If you've read the first couple of posts, you'd know that I was lusting over the Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer (it was in my Beauty (Makeup) Wish List! Part 1) and then I kinda bought it... (check our my 'I went shopping and...' post).

The Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer is very well known on both YouTube and on blogs. I can proudly tell you, that it does in fact live up to it's good name. It glides on very smoothly because it has a very creamy texture. Even though it's really creamy, it doesn't slip and slide everywhere - it really stays in place. It's main purpose is for covering under-eye circles, and I have very prominent under-eye circles (which despite 12 hours of sleep  - STILL DO NOT GO!). I have noticed a huge difference when applying this because not only does it cover the under-eye area, it really brightens it.

I use the MAC 217 brush to apply this, however, I find that patting it in with your ring finger also works very well (I use the brush because I manage to get finger marks on everything if I don't).

One small problem I've experienced when using this is that it does crease - but to prevent it creasing there are 3 sequential steps to follow:

1. Put an eye-shadow primer underneath you concealer.
2. Apply your concealer, then using one layer of a tissue, press on top to absorb the excess oil.
3. Powder on top.

^ I know the steps might seem a bit strenuous for several people, but it doesn't have to be done every single day. I usually only powder on a day-day basis; however, if you want longevity from the concealer on a special occasion - the above steps are really important.

If you'd like to buy this concealer, I'd advise you to get colour matched beforehand and have the counter lady help you identify whether you need the creamy concealer or the correcter.

Look out for special discounts, a lot of the time Debenhams have a 10% off sale in their beauty section, and around the same time  - John Lewis do a price match and also do 10% off their beauty section.

The Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer retails for £18 normally, and despite it being expensive, it does last a long time. You can purchase it on the Bobbi Brown Website, Selfridges, Debenhams and John Lewis.
