Welcome to my blog! My blog content is a mixture of things. I mainly talk about beauty, but I do a few random posts about my life. In the near future I shall also upload a few recipes as I am a huge foodie!

There aren't many products which I use in the morning, usually because I'm in a rush. Whether that be because I'm on my way to college or to work. Living 45 minutes to an hour away to both these places doesn't help either, especially when using public transport.

I start of with using my Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser. I just rub this on to my dry face, and then with a flannel or muslin cloth (soaked in hot water and then ringed to remove excess water) I wipe it off. This removes the dead skin that builds up overnight. I think whether you've got oily skin or dry skin or even normal skin - it is really important to do this step. I know it is more time consuming than your standard foaming face wash, but it does help your skin over time.

I then continue exfoliation with an exfoliating toner. I use the Pixi Glow tonic (which is a dupe for the £50 toner - P50). I pop a bit of this toner on a cotton wool pad (I like the ones with textured surfaces so that the exfoliation is top notch). I find that this just leaves a much smoother surface prior to applying my moisturiser. Considering I have very sensitive skin - this hasn't irritated me at all! Continuous use of this has proven to even up my skin tone too (just a tad, I haven't noticed a massive difference, let me get to the end of the bottle!). It also doesn't leave my skin feeling tight nor stripped. The only problem with this toner is that it is SO hard to get hold of! After Caroline Hirons (an amazing skin blogger - seriously, check her out) spoke about it on her blog, the world went a bit crazy! You can only get it in the Pixi Store in Carnaby Street - they do however, do telephone orders.

Lastly I finish off with a very well know moisturiser - the glorified Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre. This is highly raved about by make-up artists, bloggers - majority of France. The first time I switched from my regular Simple Moisturiser to this, my skin went from a much less pleasant texture to a satiny smooth texture. If it could do wonders to my skin - what do I hold against it? I've repurchased it three times now and despite being married to the bloody moisturiser, I've decided that my skin has soaked up all the goodness of the moisturiser and needs something new. I find that when using this, my t-zone has recently become more oilier and my dry patches more drier. Maybe it's because I've been exfoliating more and my skin's used to it? I wonder... However - I would still recommend this. I've tried switching to cheaper alternatives, but they really just don't do.
