Welcome to my blog! My blog content is a mixture of things. I mainly talk about beauty, but I do a few random posts about my life. In the near future I shall also upload a few recipes as I am a huge foodie!

So, when you go out shopping to Oxford Street - you can't leave with NOTHING. I went today with my friends (who I don't think really care about me because they let me spend my money) - and bought QUITE a few things.

The day started out quite well, I woke up early, and then went out, met my friend and journeyed through East London at a comfortable and steady pace; that was until I got on the Central line. I was squashed behind a rather large man and was pushed against the glass of the train door. My friend thought it was a hilarious sight because she didn't stop to pause at all in her fit of giggles every time she saw my face. The journey lasted for 20 minutes! We ended up stopping at Tottenham Court Road instead of Oxford Circus. BIG MISTAKE. Instead of turning right and passing the Centre Point, we turned left. We were then distracted by Starbucks, Space N.K. and other endless department stores. We did end up at Oxford Street at 2:00 pm (despite our original plan of meeting our other friends there at 12).

Ending my short and (not so) tragic story, let me get on with what I actually bought:

In the clothes and accessories department, I bought Floral Pyjamas, a maxi skirt and a 'statement' necklace. The Floral Pyjamas and Necklace were from Primark (the queue there seemed endless) and they retailed for £8 and £6. QUITE the bargain. The maxi skirt was a gorgeous blue colour with a grey undertone (not my words, but my friend's) from Newlook. That retailed for £14.99. I managed to get 10% student discount too, so if you're a student - utilize what's available to you!

Just a fumble of the clothes so you can get an idea of the colours.

I then went into Selfridges and 'bumped' into the Bobbi Brown Counter. The lady there was nice enough to have me matched up to my correct shade of the creamy concealer (finaaaalllly, I've been waiting so long!). I took the plunge and bought it (and I must say, I don't regret it all all). I also went to the Georgio Armani Counter and got a sample of the Luminious Silk Foundation (which I will buy in the near future because it is so nice).

Following Selfridges, I went to Pizza Hut and planned to go home following that. But NO! My friend wanted me to accompany her to Boots. Again, I caused a bit of damage.

All the make-up I bought today:

Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer, Maybelline Lumi Touch, Georgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation Sample, Maybelline Nail Polish in  Evergreen, Revlon Super Lustrous Lip gloss in Pink pop, and Girls Aloud Lashes by Cheryl.
I bought a few other miscellaneous items like cotton pads, face flannels etc.

What have you bought on your last shopping trip? Drop a comment below!
