Welcome to my blog! My blog content is a mixture of things. I mainly talk about beauty, but I do a few random posts about my life. In the near future I shall also upload a few recipes as I am a huge foodie!

For the past 2 months, I've been enjoying the company of a few products that have kept me looking slightly more alive and perky than I've been.

To start off - base.

Since the hot weather has hit the UK, I've changed up my base to something lighter in texture. The Nars Radiant Tinted Moisturizer has been my daily base of choice on most days. It is very lightweight but provides enough coverage for me. It doesn't cover all my hyperpigmentation, but does cover enough. It also gives a radiant finish to the skin without looking overly shiny. I use the shade Finland, which may have been too light in Summer, but I did top it with my MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Medium Plus (which is darker than my actual skin tone), which looked perfectly fine (in terms of matching my skin).

Accompanying the tinted moisturizer, I've been using the Nars Creamy Concealer in Custard. Now, I think this is too dark to use all over my face. However, under my eyes, it is perfect. The consistency of this concealer is absolutely a dream to blend into the skin. It is also full coverage. I think it even beats my Bobbi Brown Concealer (which finished). Now, I know I will have to buy this in Vanilla for the colder months.

Next up is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. I've done an entire blog post on this here, so I won't go  on too much about it. However, I have been using this palette non-stop in so many ways. I've been using radiant light to just finish off all my makeup. I've also been using Iridescent light to highlight all over.

Now, onto a cult product - Hoola, by Benefit. I think this is great. It's great to contour as well as bronze all over. I've been using it all summer. It's completely matte, and is not too orange.

On my cheeks I've been using MAC's tenderling blush. It's so natural and goes with absolutely everything. I've been reaching for this when I can't think of anything else that will go. It just adds a touch of natural colour to your cheeks.

Lastly, for the eyes I've been using this Stila Twist Up Pencil in Oscar Fish. It's a brown pencil liner, with gold specks of shimmer, and I love it for the lower lash line. It just adds a little something to your eyes, and is so creamy and easy to use.
