Welcome to my blog! My blog content is a mixture of things. I mainly talk about beauty, but I do a few random posts about my life. In the near future I shall also upload a few recipes as I am a huge foodie!

Last month I experienced the most horrible breakouts in one go. They appeared all over my forehead, my cheeks, my chin, my jawline - EVERYWHERE. It wasn't nice at all.

With my skin, I've found that even if I don't touch these spots - they leave so many scars. My face is just the perfect exhibition for hyper pigmentation.

Whilst this was happening, I was on a serious quest to discover products that would help.

My spots were definitely hormonal, alongside my skin detoxifying itself (I started eating clean 80% of the time) as well as dehydration.

To help reduce scarring and the amount of spots, I've relied on 3 of my 'hero' products. They have saved me.

1. La-Roche Posay Effeclar Duo +

This is a gel type product that I've been using probably 3 nights out of the week. It's really helped with keeping those blemishes at bay and help new scars not scar as heavily as they usually would do so.

2. Mario Badescu Drying Cream

This was a purchase I made early last month. If I see a slightly raised bump on my face - I dab a little bit of this, wake up in the morning and it's practically gone! It's one of the fastest acting spot treatments I've come across.

3. Origins Clear Improvements Face Mask

This is a great detoxifying mask. I love how it just gets all the bad stuff out of your face, leaving you with a smoother, brighter and less blemish-y complexion! I put it on for 20 mins, let it dry and then flannel it off. I use this twice a week on my spottier days, in conjunction with the Mario Badescu Drying Cream and La Roche Posay Effeclar Duo +.
