Welcome to my blog! My blog content is a mixture of things. I mainly talk about beauty, but I do a few random posts about my life. In the near future I shall also upload a few recipes as I am a huge foodie!

I initially bought these when they were first released. I loved the entire conceptual theme of a supposedly moisturising product that is matte at the same time.

It does make me wonder about how they produced such a product. What chemical reactions did the products undergo in order for it to contain two opposing properties? It's cool.

Now on to what I think about the products itself.

I have 3 shades - 225 Sultry, 250 Standout and Elusive. I picked up Elusive first, it did suit me, but it didn't feel right when I put it on. I think it was too barbie-esque for my liking. Also, it fell behind my chest of drawers and that thing is HEAVY. So, it won't be featured in today's post.

The products do as the name suggests - they are both matte and moisturising. They aren't super moisturising - I do use a lip balm prior to applying, but they are the most moisturising MATTE product that I've got my hands on.

The lasting power of these are about 3 hours - which personally is okay. I think because I drink a lot of water, I have the middle part of my mouth ends up having no colour whatsoever and the edges of my lips have lipstick on. That's with most lip products for me though.

My favorite shade out of the 3 I have is Sultry. It's one of those colours that are bold but at the same time muted in colour because they're not  in your face. Also, because my skin tone is pretty light, it looks more bolder on me. I really think this colour stands out to me out of the entire colour range.

The red shade, Standout, leans more towards the pink of the colour spectrum. I do love this red, and think it's an amazing winter-spring transition colour. It is a bit too bold for my liking (to wear on a daily basis), but I think it'll be great for evening events and special occasions where you want to go a bit bolder with your makeup.
