My name is Ayesha - Ayesha Siddique. I'm a student (ex-willbesoona-student - since I'm taking a gap year?) who seemed to be buying too much beauty related things and wanted to tell as many people as possible when products seemed to be working amazingly!
My ethnic background lies in South Asia in a small, but mighty country named Bangladesh. This is the country where my beautiful parents were born, and where they met (and thereafter united through the bond of marriage for over 22 years). I, however, was born in London, England. Makeup was my mother's forte, I wasn't much too keen on it till I was 16. Once I hit 16, I realised - I cannot go bare-faced into interviews. I needed to look more polished and groomed (I was just a slightly dead-looking teenager). I started researching into makeup and discovered an entire new world (it was like opening the cupboard door and discovering Narnia - only more magical, as I learnt about SO many new things!). My small interest in makeup kind-of became an obsession! Each pay check was half-half divided between Boots/Superdrugs and life (mind you, I only had a Saturday Job).
I started a blog a year ago, in all honesty - that did not work out. I was torn between writing posts, revising for the ridiculously hard A-levels I was taking and giving my 100% to my job. Taking up the responsibility and dedication of a blog became something I really wanted to do (and considering the time I'd have on my hands due to my gap year, I thought it'd be a good way to utilize my time).
